1. Who We Are

PropJunkie ("we," "us," or "our") is a sports analytics web application that provides AI-powered prop bet analysis for informational and entertainment purposes. We do not facilitate, accept, or process any wagers or gambling transactions.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account or use our service:

• Account information: Email address, username, and password (stored in encrypted form — we never store plain-text passwords)
• Profile preferences: Preferred sport(s), preferred sportsbook, and any saved props or analysis history you choose to store
• Billing information: Subscription tier and payment status. Payment card details are processed entirely by Stripe and are never stored on our servers
• Location (state): Your U.S. state, used solely to display applicable responsible gambling resources and legal notices
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and general interaction patterns, collected through standard server logs

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To provide the PropJunkie analysis service
• To process subscription payments via Stripe
• To send transactional emails (welcome email, receipts, password reset)
• To improve the app based on aggregate usage patterns
• To communicate updates, new features, or changes to this policy

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data to serve advertising.

4. Third-Party Services

PropJunkie uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy practices:

• Anthropic Claude API — Powers the AI analysis engine. Prop data and player statistics are sent to Anthropic's API to generate analysis. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• The Odds API — Provides real-time sports odds and game data. No personal user data is shared with this service.
• Stripe — Processes subscription payments. We share your email address with Stripe for billing purposes. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Railway — Hosts the PropJunkie application infrastructure. See Railway's Privacy Policy.
• Resend / Email Provider — Delivers transactional emails. Your email address is shared for delivery purposes only.

5. Cookies

PropJunkie uses minimal cookies necessary for the service to function:

• Session cookies: Used to keep you logged in during a browser session
• Preference cookies: Used to remember your selected sport and display preferences

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records, which may be retained for up to 7 years for tax purposes).

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate data
• Deletion: Request that we delete your account and associated data
• Portability: Request your data in a portable format
• Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email

8. Age Restriction

PropJunkie is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older (21+ in jurisdictions where that is the legal sports betting age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us immediately and we will delete the account.

9. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, the right to delete your personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. 10. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, bcrypt password hashing, and access controls on our infrastructure. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify registered users by email if the changes are material. Continued use of PropJunkie after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
